Bauru, São Paulo, 1987. Dudu Quintanilha lives and works in Frankfurt am Main where he is completing his studies in Fine Arts in Städelschule. Initially educated in Buenos Aires where he studied at Universidad Di Tella and IUNA. His practice is focused in video, photography and performance researching performativity. Dudu Quintanilha amplifies his research by not defining themes but by creating expanded experiences for his different works processes. In São Paulo he founded in 2015 the Grupo Mexa with Anita Silvia Lima Miranda, group for diversity in vulnerable situation which uses artistic practices such as writing and performance to develope a work that researches articulartion of groups, social issues in cities and participants’ personal stories. He also created “Eterno work in progress”, a film club project with Luisa Cavanagh, colorist of PeuP- Project, deconstructing the way of behaving and showing works in cinema rooms with live experiences through performance and film. He developed cinema projects such as the short film “Eu vou me piratear” co-directed with Daniel Favaretto which took part of Visions du Reél(Switzerland), Festival Internacional de Curtas metragens de São Paulo (Brazil), Vilnius LGBT Festival “Kreivés” (Lituania), Festival de Cinema de Tiradentes (Brazil), and won First Prize ISAT atFestival Asterisco (Argentina), among others. His main individual exhibitions are: “Fantasía casi soneto después de una lectura de dan(c)e” (2017, Universidad DiTella, Bienal de Performance, Buenos Aires), “Passinho” (2016, DotFiftyOneGallery, Miami), “Ingobernables” (2015, MiteGalería, Buenos Aires), “Young at heart” (2014, Solo Proyecto Arco Madrid, Madrid), “Coragem” (2012, Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Rosario, Rosario), “Después de todo lo anterior” (2012, Galería Garash, México DF), “Selfcleptomano” (2011 Mite Galería, Buenos Aires). He was part of Q21 MuseumsQuartier (Vienna), LEA Faena Arts Center (Buenos Aires) residencies among others. He was invited to write the next book for Actividad de Uso, a specialized art book collection that will be edited in Buenos Aires and articles such as “In case you forgot how I look like” for On Curating Issue edited in New York among others.

Carolina Mendonça works with dance, theater and has a certain abandonment to the categories, allowing contamination of knowledge and being vulnerable to other logics. Graduated in Performing Arts at ECA-USP and with a Master’s in Choreography and Performance at Giessen University in Germany, Carolina believes in the importance of collaboration to find possible perspectives to the world we live in. Her latest productions are  “We, the Undamaged others” premiered 2017 at Oswald de Andrade and showed at MIT-2018 in São Paulo; “Falling” 2016 presented at Mousonturm, Frankfurt; “Público” 2015 created for Videobrasil; “Tragedy: a Tragedy” presented at SESC Pompéia São Paulo (2014) and Caixa Cultural at Curitiba, Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro (2016); “A Radically Condensed History of Post-Industrial Life” that won CCJ First Works Prize, and the Myrian Muniz Award to a national tour in 2013. Also acts as a curator for the Performing Arts Festival VERBO (2017) at Galeria Vermelho and Temporada de Dança (2017) at Videobrasil both in São Paulo. Her workshop Impossible Practices has brought her to many different places such as São Luiz, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Tehran. Carolina collaborates as a dramaturg with artists such as Dudu Quintanilha, Marcelo Evelin, Macaquinhos and Volmir Cordeiro.
 

Bertrand Flanet (b. 1986 in Schiltigheim, France) lives and works in Frankfurt am Main. He studied Art History at Marc Bloch University, Strasbourg, France and obtained a Master degree in art history and curatorship at the Rennes II University, France. Since 2012 he is part of the Douglas Gordon’s Filmklasse at the Städelschule, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. In his practice that comprises movies, drawings and sculptures, Bertrand Flanet elaborates atmospheric narratives the likes of tales, which evoke and fictionalize the hopes and desires of our times. From economy to science; sociology to technology his work investigates the promises and fears of the modern Man, thus diving into ontological and existential questionings. His work was shown in Indonesia, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, among others countries. In 2014 he has been awarded with the Lichter Art Award, Frankfurt am Main. 

Francisco Ali-Brouchoud (Posadas, 1964) is a visual and sound artist, and writer. Lives and works in Buenos Aires. Bachelor of Arts (Universidad Nacional de Misiones), since 1981 he has worked on experimental and intermediate projects. Between 2002 and 2006 he was curator of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the National University of Misiones (MAC-UNaM), of which he was one of the founders. There he produced a series of experimental music with Wade Matthews, Bhob Rainey, Lê Quan Ninh, Francisco López, Jorge Haro and Zbigniew Karkowski. He has published essays and critical texts in newspapers and specialized art media. He has performed experimental music concerts in Buenos Aires, Santiago, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo and Tehran. PeuP- is the second project he works in with Dudu Quintanilha after doing original live music for Fantasía casi soneto después de una lectura de dan(c)e produced by DiTella University in Buenos Aires for the Performance Bienal, and also collaborated with the artist in the latest project Eterno work in progress that Dudu created with Luisa Cavanagh, a film club that creates live cinema expansion.
